Intro – "At this point in my gardening career I'm not adding new plants (well not many) and have no big landscaping projects so my interest has turned to photography and that in turn in led me to appreciate some of the finer points of plants such as their foliage, the miniscule flowers on some plants as well as detail on the huge ones, the texture and design of their petals and leaves, their symmetry , their seeming 'moods', also the fascinating creatures that make their home in and among them, and now --- their buds!

While viewing the photos taken of fully opened flowers I have noticed their buds as never before and have come to appreciate the interesting twists and turns of the buds as well as their color and tactile qualities. I would like to share some of my excitement about buds with you." :-)
